Indication after oral surgery

after 1 hour take the gauze out;

don’t eat or drink 2-4 hours after the surgery;

eat soft food, at room temperature, on the other side, for 3-4 days;

your cheek or lip, depending on the surgery location, will swollen. Hold on your cheek/ lip cold packages, for 30 minutes, in the first 2-3 days;

the swelling will appear from the next day and will disappear in 7-10 days;

after surgery, in that day and in the next, there can be a small bleeding. This is a normal evolution. If it is bigger, contact your dentist;

in the surgery day, do not rinse your mouth and do not brush your teeth;

use the mouthwash 2 times a day until healing;

do not pull the cheek/lip and do not harm in any way the operation site;

do not make physical activities in the first 2 days;

do not smoke or drink alcohol until healing;

take the painkillers and/or antibiotics as prescribed by your dentist.
