- Keep the gauze at the extraction place for 30-45 min.
- Do not move the gauze, try to speak less.
- Do not spit, because bleeding can appear.
- Do not eat or drink for 2-4 hours.
- You can eat only soft food, at room temperature, on the other side.
- In that day, do not rinse your mouth and do not brush your teeth!
- In that day, do not smoke or drink alcohol!
- Do not put anything in the extraction place.
- After 1-2 hours, you can take a pill for pain, as your dentist prescribed.
- A small bleeding is normal in the first day. If it bleeds more, apply a gauze on the extraction site and bite firm for 30 -45 min.
- In the morning, you may have some blood in the mouth. Stay calm, this is normal. Rinse slow and spit.
- If the bleeding doesn’t stop, contact your dentist.
- You can resume brushing the next day, but avoid that site for 3-4 days.
- The extraction site will heal in 3-4 weeks.
